This 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive was built for the Boston & Maine Railroad by Alco-Schenectady in July of 1920. The loco was renumbered 2905 in October of 1940 with a weight redistribution for added branch usage and reclassed as S-1-c. The loco met the scrapper's torch in December of 1949. Original specs - serial #61975, class S-1a, 61" drivers, 29x32" cylinders, engine weight of 376,800 lb, tractive effort of 71,300 lb.
