After the shot on Church Street we were not able to get back out ahead of it again. The interchange yard with NS (Clare Yard) is very cut off so we werent able to see them in the yard. WE went into Mariemont to do some investigating. We could hear switching but couldnt see it. So we decided to go back to Newtown where we set up shop at Debolt Road where the first of several deactivated N&W CPLs stand. In its place closer to the street is a Conrail style trilight which is used as the distant signal for the yard. After lots of waiting TJ claimed he heard rumbling coming from around the corner, and sure enough moments later the gates came down and to our delightful suprise, a B23-7 had been tacked to the front! The chase was on! |
