Description:  Here is a newspaper article entitled "16 Freight Cars Derailed As Auto Hits Train; None Injured." It was published in the 16 May 1940 issue of the "Altoona Tribune," pages one and two. Textual Quote: "Front locomotive 6710 was in charge of Engineman G.W. Mough. Conductor W. Miner was in charge of the train. Two pusher engines, 4576 and 3204, were piloted by Enginemen C.D. Cort and H.H. Hanley. Crew members reported the signal lights at the crossing were working as the train passed.""

Description:  Here is a photo via Howard Davis that was taken in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, in 1941. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4576, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during September of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in January of 1949, and retired in January of 1960 after 37 years of faithful service.
