Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken in Cincinnati, Ohio, c. 1967. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "EMD SD-9 #6924, 1750-hp, at Cincinnati, O." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6924, an ES-17M road switcher built by GM-EMD as number "7624" in January of 1958, rated at 1,750 horsepower, and renumbered "6924" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Diesels On The Pennsylvania" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (819-56).
