This streamlined 4-6-0 was originally built by the Milwaukee Shops in 1925 as a traditional MILW 4-6-0 #2769 (no serial number). However it was rebuilt with streamlined cowling and renumbered MILW #10 for use on the Northwood Hiawatha trains. In 1946, MILW #10 was "deshrouded" and renumbered MILW #1112. The loco finally was retired after nearly 26 years of service on October 29, 1951 and presumedly scrapped. No exact day in 1940 was given and no photographer was listed unfortunately. |
