Description:  Nice action shot of an Alco-Brooks built 4-6-2 Pacific delivered to Lehigh Valley in January of 1924. Three of this class were later streamlined - 2089 & 2093 received the styling in 1939 with 2097 receiving it in 1940. Specs - K6b class, bldr #65256, 77" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 291,000 lb, tractive effort of 41534 lb. Unknown photographer

Title:  CNJ 4-6-0C #771 - Central RR of New Jersey
Description:  Pouring on the coal as it passes CNJ 2-8-2 #866, the 1913 Baldwin built 4-6-0 camelback #771 shows it can compete with the Mikado sister. Note on the back of the photo states - "CNJ 771 - east - train #202, CNJ 866 west - train #403". Specs - L-7as,69" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 23x28" cylinders, engine weight of 225,600 lb, tractive effort of 36,493 lb. Virtually all of this class served until the 1950's. R.P. CNJ GP7 #1524 - Central RR of New Jersey
Title:  CNJ GP7 #1524 - Central RR of New Jersey
Description:  Built by Electro-Motive Division in November of 1952, this 1500hp unit served most in passenger service around Jersey City. It merged into Conrail as #5902 and then purchased by NJDOT before being transferred to NJ Transit ownership in December of 1976. This diesel was one of 2 that pulled the last passenger train on the Higbridge Branch. After retiring, it was donated to the United RR Historical Museum where it was repainted in its original CNJ colors.
