PRR 5348, K-4S, c. 1953         
Boulton. Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5348, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in October of 1956 after 38 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.

Robert Hess General This photograph was taken at Bay Head, NJ. No. 5348 has made the last station stop on this Westbound run and is standing on Osborne Avenue. The small station is out of view opposite the shelter seen on the left. The train is ready to proceed around the 'Loop' track and tie up on one of the yard tracks. 5/24/2024 1:48:24 PM
