PRR 4772, P-5A, #2 of 2, 1953
Trenton. Here is the second of two successive duplicate 35mm color slides via Al Chione that were taken in Trenton, New Jersey, on 23 August 1953. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4772, a P-5A (2-C-2) built by General Electric in November of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in October of 1962 after 30 years of faithful service. The photographer's name and the road numbers of the three locomotives parked at the left are not recorded. ("Stoneborobranch"; #6 of 19)
