| Recognizing that this portion of the Powell-Hyde line was once a part of the California Street Cable Railroad, the crew of Cal Cable 42 stopped midway down the hill to allow passengers to take picture of the car where it had not operated since 1954! Usually this car is reserved for ceremonial use my the mayor of San Francisco, but it was in service on the Powell-Hyde line as part of the 2018 Muni Heritage weekend. |
