Tom Beckett	General	Conrail used to ship NYCTA cars via rail when they rebuilt at Hornell in the late 80's/early 90's. Wonder why NS didn't get this traffic. For what it's worth, when Sumitomo was rebuilding NYCTA R 40's and various IRT cars in Elmira Heights around the same time, they shipped by road as well.
