Illinois Central 2-8-2 3766 was switching passenger cars at Union Station in New Orleans. Built by Alco-Brooks in April 1907 as Indianapolis Southern 2-8-0 #3, became IC #795 in 1912, rebuilt to 2-8-2 in 1923 and initially numbered 3795, but it was modified with a higher boiler pressure in 1937 and renumbered 3766.
