Museum Bound. Here is an original photo that I took of an Amtrak train in Larchmont, New York, on 29 August 1984. Shown here is Amtrak engine #915, an AEM7 built by GM-EMD in January of 1981 and rated at 7,000 horsepower. It is pulling a five-car northbound passenger train through Larchmont Station to New Haven, Connecticut. #915 is presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. |
