Two Grinstein Green SD70MACs roll into BNSF North Yard with the 101 transfer job. Tucked between BNSF SD70MAC 9688, SD70MAC 9657, BNSF 2835 GP38-2, and BNSF 1268 3GS21C, are twelve new Union Pacific ET44ACs (UP 2628, 2629, 2620, 2618, 2619, 2632, 2634, 2633, 2636, 2631, 2621, 2635) just released from the General Electric Fort Worth assembly plant for delivery. Before UP 2631 enters revenue service this diesel will be going south for testing, per the nose decal "move unit dead-in-tow under waybill to Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX for emissions testing". |
