The northwest and southwest walls of the I&N, later GB&W, depot at Iola, WI on 13 May '15. The depot was built in 1894 and served the I&N and GB&W until the line was abandoned on 30 May '58. It became known as “Station 66” when it was owned by the GB&W, because it was located 65.7 miles from Green Bay. After abandonment it served as storage for Iola Cooperative for a while. The Iola Historical Society acquired it in Oct. '79. The bay window, which had been removed years ago, has recently been reconstructed. |
