What looks like a photo of nothing but woods is actually a photo of the original alignment of the C&P mainline. Sometime around 1906-1908, the C&P was relocated a couple hundred feet to the south here in Brady Lake. The old alignment more or less parallels Ravenna Road by feet and then goes on to cross the Cuyahoga River at a different location than the present day spot. The two alignments don't end up joining back together until downtown Hudson, Ohio. When the relocation occurred, the mileage from Rochester, Pa was never adjusted to accommodate the upgrade and therefore there is no milepost RD97 on the C&P, now the NS Cleveland Line.
