William Schweers General Not many people realize that this is the original route of the Baltimore & Port Deposite Railroad Company that reached Havre de Grace in 1836. It ended at the Susquehanna River and the trains were brought by ferry across the river to Perryville so they could link up with the Wilmington & Susquehanna Railroad Co.
