| Atop the trestle in Kent, I took a photo looking west on the remaining piece of the LE&P. In the VERY far distance, you can see the track duck beneath Route 43. This was the site of a mishap involving a doublestack about 8-10 years ago. When a crew attempted to spot a bad-ordered doublestack, it got jammed beneath the highway overpass which resulted in the closing of the road for several weeks while the bridge was inspected and repaired. |
