| When the order for electric locomotives bound for the Soviet Union in 1946 was cancelled, these locos, labeled "Little Joes" were sold to the Milwaukee Road and Chicago South Shore & South Bend. This is an example of the 12 axle powered unit. Unfortunately the b&w photo doesn't show the brilliant orange and black color scheme.
