| Stopped for a moment in Schiller Park, IL, with its freight string, SOO 2425 poses for the unknown photographer. Built in 1909 by Alco-Schenectady as an F-21 class, it was later superheated by the Soo shops in 1919. It has a long history which is well told on the Iron Horse Railroad Park website (http://www.ironhorsecentral.com/about26.html) since it is currently stored there. |
