C.S. Jackson General Same locomotive doing the same thing what it does best. Only it's a prefiguring of another grab-shot two years later on a railroad whose lead locomotive whose will be getting a horse scheme in an adjoining state. 2/10/2007 9:37:12 PM
william davis General Yes indeed, that's why I'm filming as many of these Conrail painted units as I can, because they will be all repainted soon. NS has the most Conrail units left, as CSXT has painted most of theirs up, but anytime I see these Conrail units leading I'll be all over it, since they're going to be repainted 2/12/2007 1:42:23 PM
C.S. Jackson General What I was saying It's GEC Alstom 6061 doing the same thing. but 300 miles, and 2 years apart. and in an adjacent state. 2/12/2007 2:06:10 PM
william davis General Excuse my misunderstanding, I though you were referring to the lead unit. The GEC Alstom 6061 is a rare find in these parts. I was able to get a shot of 1 of the GEC Alstom SD40-3'S in Montgomery, Al. on Saturday, GCFX 6076 & 3099 were coupled together awaiting their next assignment at Montgomery ( CSXT'S North Yard ) 2/12/2007 3:53:20 PM
C.S. Jackson General That's okay. You know what I'm doing? Watching some WC SD45 clips on youtube.com. You should see how well the do when the tape is rolling. 2/12/2007 9:55:25 PM
william davis General Cool, I've never checked out youtube.com, I'll go check it out 2/13/2007 9:56:45 AM
