PRR 4269, EP-22, c. 1967
Mann. Here is a photo of (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4269, #4209, and another unit whose road number is not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #4269 is an EP-22 built as number "5789" in May of 1952, rated at 2,250 horsepower, and renumbered "4269" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. #4209 is an EP-20 built as number "5849" in August of 1947, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and renumbered "4209" in preparation for the merger. Not many passenger cars in this so-called passenger train! (Gift from Brad Mann.)
