Everett Railroad 126  Contributor's Pick!
An EMD SW-900, this is the oldest of the Everett Railroad diesels, having been built in 1938. It was originally built for the Lehigh Valley Railroad. It served on that line until Conrail took it over in 1976. In the 1980s, it was sold and served with several mining railroads. It was on the Kiski Junction Railroad, but that one shut down in 2017. The Everett Railroad then purchased this one in 2021 and started running it in 2022.
