Thanks steven, I didn't like the fence around the unit, but hey something like this you can't pass up to shoot. The only one of these I've ever seen in person or shot. I didn't even know it was there. I just was chasing the BNSF Local on the Butte Sub and stumbled across this surprise

Interesting... I was there in February, (I knew it was there from a previous trip, but found it the same way you did) and there were no Milwaukee logos on the side. Makes me wonder if they are only on during "tourist" season....

They must have given that little joe a new paint job. I was there in May of 2006, and it didn't look as good as it does in your photo. The boxcab in Harlowton looked a little better.

Thanks landrover, Definitely interesting Matt. I love when I come across surprises like these. You never know what you'll come across sometimes. I love finding anything different such as old geeps working grain elevators or something similar.

Nice shot, E70 is sadly the only Milwaukee Road Joe left. 2 of the south shore ones and two Brazilian ones survived I believe. CSS 803 is even in operating condition at IRM.
