Athenia Station
Description:
Athenia as well as Franklin Ave. stations in Nutley had order boards and station/freight agents until EL merger and maybe through 1966 passenger service curtailment.Behind station is former site of USDA Quarantine station and spur. Bare spot in foreground was once site of De Soto(CHRYSLER) dealer that used an end unloading dock on team track that was located approximately behind the nose of the truck.
