Reportedly: SP 1530 was built in April 1959 by EMD as a model SD7, builders number 17145, SP 5280, SP Class DF-114. In 1965 it became SP 2701, SP Class ES615-1, it became SP 1401 in 1973. In April 1980, it was upgraded becoming SP 1530, SP Class ES615R-1. It was retired by the SP in May 1995. In July 1995 it became W&P 1501; to PNWR 1501 in 1996; to BUGX 1501 in 2023. |
