Here are 11 duplicate 35mm color slides of Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives. All of them were purchased via a single eBay auction conducted by Ms. Sara Aziz on Saturday, 12 March 2022. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), the exact date, and the location are provided when available.

Aziz. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #780, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during October of 1914 and retired in July of 1948 after 34 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.

PRR 5832, BH-50, c. 1954
Description:
Aziz. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken just West of the 24th Street Bridge in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1954. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5832 and another "Centipede" whose road number is not recorded. Both are BH-50's built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as BP-60's rated at 3,000 horsepower each, but later regeared and classified as BH-50's rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #5832 was constructed in February of 1948 and retired in April of 1962 after just 14 years of revenue service. In this context, they're serving as rear-end helpers on a freight train on its way up the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve to Gallitzin and points West. Partially visible at the left is PRR N-8 cabin car #478171.

Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9743 and two more "BF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. #9743 is a BF-16 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in February of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service.

Aziz. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in South Amboy, New Jersey, c. 1955. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5348, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in October of 1956. Partially visible at the left is PRR engine #4741, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by Baldwin-General Electric in March of 1933, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in October of 1964.

Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #3966 and #3967. Both are DD-1 (2-B+B-2) boxcabs built in Juniata as number "17" for the New York Terminal Railroad in July of 1910, rated at 2,000 horsepower each, later renumbered "3966" and "3967" respectively, and retired in February of 1963 after 53 years.
