Now Arriving

Description:  The special at Warner Siding, the end of the trip. Soon crews will switch locomotives and return the train to Salt Lake City. Once upon a time this siding was bordered by Warner Station, a LA&SL depot built following Union Pacific standards. Warner Station is long gone, although similar buildings survive in Spanish Fork, Logan, and Tintic Utah (the Tintic Station was chopped into two separate segments though)

Description:  Former DRGW branch now converted to light rail service. In the distance blue Savage engines and orange Utah Railway engines serve as a reminder of the freight history of this line. A few freight industries remain active alongside the light rail, with freight trains visiting them during the night while Trax is shut down.

Great Western GP at Heber
Title:  Great Western GP at Heber
Description:  GWR 296 is planned to be restored to its original UP 296 paint and operating status in the near future. From what I understand it will run for a while in it's GWR paint to test out the kinks, and once it is running smoothly it will be returned to its original Armour Yellow paint.
